Daniel Bek

Fitness Programs Director

Daniel has been a vital component to the quality of A1TrainingGroup's overall performance. Daniel helps manage all of our client's exercise programs in order to ensure that all assigned exercise programs exceed our client's expectations. Daniel has been a student of sports performance & corrective exercise for almost a decade now. Learning from the Prague school of Rehabilitation as a well as Postural Restoration Institute & the Kinesiology department of Brooklyn College gave Daniel expertise in sports performance, treating lumbo-pelvic pathologies as well as biomechanics & anatomy/physiology. Given his extensive background in the field of exercise science, Daniel has grown to become A1TrainingGroup's secret weapon as he makes sure that all of our clients are reaching their goals in a safe, systematic & sustainable manner.

Abby

CPT

Abby is a certified exercise physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). In her continuation of providing health expertise in fitness, Abby obtained her certification in pre/postnatal performance training through PROnatal Fitness. Abby holds expertise in calisthenics, running, and weightlifting, which she practices in her own personal training. With her clients, she incorporates principles of strength and conditioning, functional training for preventive injury, mobility training, interval and circuit training. She has volunteered in several physical therapy clinics and worked closely with experienced rehab professionals since 2012, and has been a personal trainer since 2015. Abby strives to teach clients how to maintain peak physical health in an enjoyable and sustainable way.
Abby has competed in several powerlifting competitions hosted by USA Powerlifting as well as one with the Women’s Strength Coalition to support the Ali Forney Center for Homeless LGBTQ Youth. Her passion for a healthy and active lifestyle was instilled at a young age by her father, a phys ed. teacher, and it led her to eventually graduate with a BS in exercise science from Brooklyn College. A native New Yorker, Abby enjoys nature walks, photography and travel.”

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. An appointment with one our coaches begins with an in-depth review of your goals, exercise history,  & functional movement assessments.

2. Come dressed to sweat! Your conditioning level will be tested.

3. Leave with a roadmap of where you are in your fitness journey & what you have to do in order to get to where you need to go. 

note: Your first session at anyone of our physical locations is $35
